CRYPTOFAUNA is a reflection on life in motion.

Inspired by creatures, symbols, and patterns that have appeared throughout human history, the collection explores the cycles that connect all living things. Birth and death. Creation and transformation. The tides that pull us forward and the unseen currents that shape our lives.

Scorpions, beetles, fish, crabs, and other ancient forms appear throughout the collection, not simply as creatures, but as reminders of a wisdom that has always existed within the natural world. Across cultures and throughout time, humanity has looked to these beings for meaning, guidance, protection, and understanding.

Many of the pieces draw from the symbolism of water, spirals, lunar cycles, and movement itself. Nothing in nature stands still for long. The moon moves the tides. Rivers carve stone. Creatures molt, migrate, transform, and begin again.

Each piece serves as a small relic of that process. A living thing immortalized in metal. A reminder that life is not linear, but cyclical. Always moving. Always becoming.

Like the currents beneath the surface, some transformations happen quietly.

WOMB OF TIDES

Labradorite 

WOMB OF TIDES was created around the place where life begins before it is seen.

At the center rests a blue labradorite that is bright as water when light moves across it. Around it, the curled nautilus echo a womb, geometry, and the spiral paths that keep appearing throughout nature.

The moon pulls the tides while the body moves through cycles. Water carries life before it ever has a name.

The crescent moons and triple spiral bring that rhythm into the piece. The triskele is an ancient symbol of motion and return, and here it becomes part of the same language. Growth. Release. Renewal.

WOMB OF TIDES is about creation before arrival.

The hidden place where something is being formed, held, and slowly brought into being.

PROCESS

CRYPTOFAUNA began as a collection of individual forms gathered over time. Ancient feeling brass creatures, symbols, and fragments that seemed to carry stories of their own.

Rather than being designed from a single mold or manufactured as a matching set, each piece emerged through a process of curation and assembly. Components were carefully selected and brought together based on symbolism, movement, balance, and the dialogue they created with one another.

Each finished piece becomes its own small ecosystem of meaning, where creatures, stones, and symbols meet to tell a story larger than any single element alone.

Every element serves a purpose.

The creatures were chosen intentionally. The stones were selected for the conversations they create with one another. The movement, weight, and placement of each component are considered as part of the overall story.

This is not simply adornment.
